All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once
he grows up.

PABLO PICASSO |
I don't remember a time when I didn't have the urge to sit on the floor and make something. As a child, I would surround myself with paper and scissors and glue, leaving behind a flurry of paper scraps. My mom couldn't have been too thrilled with this, but since she was an artist herself I think she sort of understood me. I say sort of because she was a painter- oils were her specialty. She was always my biggest fan. She would tell me that although she was good at copying a photo, that I had the true talent because I had imagination.
I received a BA in Art from Northern Illinois University, but ended up working in the "real" world for about ten years. I actually loved working but felt torn to be home with my two kids and to use my art in some way. I did many art projects for friends, and friends-of-friends, during that time. It was only recently that I discovered a way to start my own business to do what I love most.
I hope you enjoy looking at this site, even if you don't intend to purchase anything. I love to do custom work, so if you have something in mind, please send me your contact information so that we can discuss your project.
